F.A.Q.
This is a remote service for recording and registering payment transactions and creating fiscal receipts in accordance with the law 54-FZ. A cloud-based sales register is suitable for online stores that accept only online payments, or for offsite traders.
To use this sales register as a regular one, you need to get a fiscal storage drive, draw up a contract with a fiscal data operator (OFD), and record a sales register at the Tax Service.
The main difference with a regular machine is that all equipment is located in the data center of the owner's company. Its payment information is collected and stored on servers, and you can connect it via the Internet.
The provider is responsible for its operation, maintenance, and software updating in accordance with legal requirements. A cloud-based sales register with an acquiring service is integrated with the online store management system. It allows connecting multiple payment methods. The YooMoney's payment service supports payment acceptance via bank apps, payment services, on loan, from mobile phone balance, with bank cards, and more.
Without a qualified electronic signature (QES), you can only record a virtual sales register at the Tax Service in person. This means that you have to go to the tax office, stand in line, and spend time filling out paperwork. With a QES, a sales register may be recorded without visiting the Tax Service: from home, store, or office.
Such signature is equal to a handwritten one and has the same legal force. It's considered the most secure and is created by means of the software complex certified by the Federal Security Service. This type of signature may be obtained by LLCs and their representatives, sole proprietors, and individuals.
It may be recorded in the same way as a regular machine. To do this, you'll need to fill out an application form (the form is available on the Tax Service portal) and select one of the recording methods:
- on the Tax Service's website using a legal entity's or sole proprietor's personal account;
- via a fiscal data operator;
- at the Tax Service in person.
Once you filed a record, the Tax Service will issue a registration card for your sales register. All payments are considered legal only after you've received this card.
Only if the sole proprietor accepts payments remotely or is engaged in offsite trade. For example, online stores, delivery services, taxi, cleaning services, etc. A remote sales register can't be used at outlets and pickup locations where customers make a payment at the time they receive an order or buy a ticket.
