Payouts to clients
You can send money to individuals via YooMoney. This feature can be used by services which provide loans, make payouts to contractors, and pay out marketing fees.
You can also officially make payouts to self-employed individuals. It's useful for online platforms where self-employed individuals offer their services: freelancing marketplaces, education platforms, or delivery services.
Money can be sent to YooMoney wallets, bank cards and accounts, mobile phone balance. Available methods depend on the integration option. Learn more about methods
Payouts may be performed by organizations: sole proprietors and corporations, including non-Russian residents. They can be recieved by individuals (citizens of the Russian Federation). Everything is set officially: we provide documents for accounting department and the Tax Service.
How it works
  1. Add money to your payout balance.
  2. When you need to pay a client, either send an API request with the payout data to YooMoney or create a list of recipients and use it as the basis for a payout.
  3. The client receives money, and you get notifications and documents.
Documents
YooMoney submits all the documents that your accounting department or the Tax Service may need.
We send Payment reports daily via email, separate ones for successful and returned payouts. Learn more in the documentation
Certificates on services rendered are created once a month and sent via email. You can additionally apply for accepting them in hard copy.
Onboarding
Technically, there're two connection types:
Without integration: each time you need to make a payout, you send us a list of recipients as a file.
With API integration: we have a new protocol version and the old one. During the onboarding process, we'll check which version suits you best.
The connection option determines the available payout types. Learn more about types
The whole registration process for new customers is described in the instructions below. If you already work with YooMoney, you don't need to sign up again. Just inform your manager that you'd like to make payouts.
  1. Write us at ecommerce@yoomoney.ru:
    • which service you need to implement: only payouts or payouts + payment acceptance,
    • who will receive payouts: the self-employed or individuals,
  2. After that, you'll be assigned a personal manager. They'll ask you to fill in a questionnaire to get information about your company.
  3. Wait for the questionnaire to be approved.
  4. Next, you need to draw up a contract and sign up for YooMoney and YooBusinеѕѕ. The manager will inform you how and in what order to do it.
    • You'll get a YooBusiness correspondent account that will be used to debit money for payouts.
    • You'll use the Merchant Profile to manage your payout settings.
  5. If you're connecting via API, set up the integration using our documentation:
If you're going to make list-based payouts, please read these instructions
  6. In order to make payouts to self-employed individuals, you need to do a couple of extra actions
  7. Add money to the payout balance in YooBusiness for the required amount. After that, you may start making payouts.
After signing up
You'll get the Merchant Profile and a gateway for making payouts.
Merchant Profile
Here you can view your payout balance and payout history, settings, and rates. You may also make list-based payouts and disable payouts for a while.
If you make payouts via YooBusiness account
You'll get one more account in YooBusiness, where you'll be able to check and add money to your payout balance (currently, this feature available in the browser version only). Note: only a company's director has access to the company's YooBusiness correspondent account and to payouts via YooMoney. When a director's authority expires, it's necessary to confirm the extension, otherwise access to both services will be suspended.
Payout gateway
Payouts are made through gateways. After onboarding, you'll immediately get your own gateway with a unique number, agentId. This number is used, for example, in API requests to convey information about a sender of money, settings applied to the payout, commission amount, etc.
You may always view your agentId in the top menu of the Merchant Profile:
Payout balance
There're different ways to monitor and add money to the balance. It all depends on whether you make payouts via YooBusiness or using the account at another bank.
How to check your balance:
How to add money to the balance: from your YooBusiness correspondent account. Go to YooBusiness via the browser (not via the app), find the payout contract you need, click "Add money", and follow the prompts on the website. The correspondent account itself can be replenished by any method available in YooBusiness.
How to withdraw the balance: go to YooBusiness and write in the chat that you'd like to transfer money from your payout balance to the correspondent account. You'll be sent an application template, you need to fill it in and send it back to the chat. The application will be processed and the money will be returned to your account.
